Coach George

George has a BA (Hons) and a Masters degree in Professional Education and Training (MPET). He is an experienced educator and public speaker who has worked in the fields of education, training and international development for various United Nations, inter-governmental and international organisations for over 20 years. In doing so, he has trained a diverse range of audiences from the government, corporate and social sectors in over 20 countries in the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific. Having worked around the world in many multi-lingual and multi-faith environments, George has honed his cross-cultural communication skills and ability to cultivate positive, collaborative and mutually beneficial working relationships with people from all walks of life. During his global career, George has enjoyed the privilege of traveling widely and being exposed to many nationalities, cultures and communities. Throughout, he has had an enduring interest in how different people share a common humanity and universally seek happiness, even if their lived experiences vary significantly. Consequently, he has studied the science of happiness and is passionate about helping people to optimise their well-being.

Coach Sarah

Sarah has a BSc (Hons) from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and is currently studying for an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP). She also holds a wide range of diplomas and certification in well-being areas such as existential well-being counselling, couples counselling, counselling for children and adolescents, CBT coaching, life coaching, ACT coaching, happiness life coaching, resilience coaching, group life coaching and positive psychology. Sarah has a background in education, working as a teacher and a university manager. Her passion for supporting and nurturing well-being in others was ignited when she was frequently called upon to offer support, advice and counselling to students. She is also a published author: her latest book, Perfectly Different, published by Penguin Random House, encourages children to embrace individuality and value diversity. Sarah is British and has lived and worked in London, Fiji, New Zealand and Qatar, as well as travelling extensively around the world. She is a mother to six children aged 10-19 and is instinctively nurturing, pragmatic, patient, supportive, empathetic and deeply passionate about helping others to overcome their obstacles to well-being, celebrate their strengths, develop healthy, positive mindsets and thrive!

  • Will I have access to every daily session immediately?

    Yes. Every session will be available as soon as you start the challenge so you can choose a schedule that suits you.

  • Are there any downloadable resources?

    Yes. Each daily session comes with a downloadable resource document that summarises the key points of the session, outlines your task for the day and provides space to write notes. Day 20 also comes with a meditation audio file.

  • Can I interact with other participants?

    Yes. You can join the chat rooms anytime you want to ask questions, share experiences and discuss daily topics. Just hit the 'Discussions' tab above the daily video. We can all learn a lot from other members of our Thrive Senses community.

  • When should I watch the daily video?

    It usually works best if you choose the same time of day, every day, to watch the latest video, so that you can incorporate it into your regular routine.

  • What if I miss a daily session?

    If you happen to miss a day, don’t worry, once each daily session is posted it will remain accessible in your account.

  • Do I have to do the quizzes to continue?

    No. The quizzes are totally optional but we’d love you to give them a go! If you don't want to do the quiz, you can skip to the daily resource document and simply press Complete & Continue to finish the session.

  • How long is each video?

    Our daily videos are all around 10 minutes long. They are designed to be informative, visually engaging and impactful, and are delivered in a concise, bite-sized format.

  • When do I do the tasks?

    The tasks vary on a daily basis. Some can be done during the session, others involve taking some time after the session to complete, while a few require committing to an action in the following days.
